Indian Forest Service Result: UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) had recently conducted the examination for 85 vacant seats. Large number of candidates appeared in this examination of Indian Forest Service, and now after examination candidates are waiting for the result.

Candidates must have their Roll No if they want to see their result. Candidates who qualify this examination, should have to give the INDIAN FOREST SERVICE MAIN EXAMINATION, this examination will be conducted in the month of September/ October 2013. Candidates can get the exact examination date after declaration of result.

Indian Forest Service Main Examination Syllabus: Main examination of IFS will consist of Written Exam and Interview. In written examination there are total 6 papers of conventional essay type. Interview will carry 300 marks, there is no min. qualifying marks for interview decided by the commission.

IFS Main Examination: Main written exam consisting of the following:

• Paper 1- General Knowledge- 300 Marks
• Paper 2- General Knowledge- 300 Marks
• Paper 3, 4, 5 & 6- Candidates can select any two subjects according to their interest (select  from the list provided by UPSC) each paper will consist Two papers there are 200 Marks for each paper.

Interview:  Candidates who will qualify the written examination will be called for interview by the commission for personality test. Interview is of 300 Marks and there is no minimum limit of marks is fixed by the commission for interview.
