About AP PSC: Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) was formed when the State of Andhra Pradesh formed on November 01, 1956. Earlier the charge was known as the Andhra Service charge (formed in 1953) which based on the guidelines of Madras Public Service charge. subsequent in 1956, APPSC was formed by amalgamating the Andhra and Hyderabad Public Service charges. written test Pattern: Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission – APPSC conducts assembly – 1 written test for various vacancies in A.P State Government agencies. APPSC assembly – 1 Exam is undertook in 3 phases: 1) Preliminary written test (Objective paper): The initial exam is a screening test which is conducted to shortlist the candidates for the next stage of written testination. The written test comprises of one target kind paper. 2) Main written test (Conventional Type): Candidate’s who trained in preliminary examination will proceed to second stage i.e major examination which contains five papers in accepted kind & is of degree standard syllabus . The General English paper is of qualifying one and its marks are not counted for last grading. 3) Interview/Oral Test: Candidate’s who emerged and found suitable in Main written test will be called for Interview which carries 75 marks.
