WBSSC Recruitment 2014

West Bengal School Service Commission invites Applications for the eligible Male/ female candidates for Librarian (Non- teaching) staff. Recruitment is based on Written Exam, Academics (Qualification, Percentage of Marks etc.), and Personal Interview. Interested candidates may apply. Applications forms are available on the official website of WB School Service Commission.  Eligible candidates have to download the Application forms from the official website then fill it and send it according to their region. Region wise detail is given below:

Age- Candidates must have age between 20-40 years. Relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC is applicable as per Govt.

Academic qualification – Candidates must have a Graduate Degree in Library science from any recognized institute/ university.

Selection process – Selection of the candidates are based on Written Examination, Academics, and Performance in Interview. (Written test will be held in Hindi & Bengali).

Application Fee- General and OBC Candidates have to pay Rs. 250/- (Rs. 80/- for SC/ST candidates). Candidates have to pay this fee through Demand Draft (DD) in the favor of West Bengal School Service Commission from any Nationalized Bank of India Payable at Kolkata.

How to Apply- Candidates have to apply Online through Official website of WBSSC , take print out of filled form, and attached attested copies of educational qualification and caste certificate with Two Passport size photographs, and then send this form to the regional address which is mentioned above.
